The preview was held at the Ritz Theatre and LaVilla Museum in Jacksonville, Florida. Attendees were treated to feature products from the Liquor Group portfolio, including single malt Scotch from Gordon & Mac Phail, RU Vodka and Happy Rum. Gordon & Mac Phail featured Benromach single malt scotch, the smallest distillery in the Speyside region, and a proud race partner of the Glasgow Clipper for the 2007- 2008 Around the World Yacht Race which ends in New York in early June 2008. Benromach Traditional is a single malt scotch whisky barreled in a first filled sherry cask then into a first filled bourbon cask, giving soft fudge, and toffee undertones, with the hint of briny salt air, with just a gorgeous balance of peat and smoke.

RU Vodka was a recent sponsor of the 2007 Florida College Bowl Games and many LPGA Golf events. RU Vodka’s distillery was commissioned over 240 years ago by Empress Catherine the Great to produce vodka for her military elite. The Romanoff family has recognized RU Vodka as the official vodka of the Imperial Russian Family. RU Vodka still uses the same winter rye and natural spring water that has been used for over 240 years. RU uses an ultra modern synthetic fiber process instead of charcoal filtering and is 4 times distilled, and is the largest volume exported Russian Vodka.

Happy Rum has been featured at many events including past Super Bowl Commissioner, Paul Tagliabue’s Party, the NFL Coaches Association and the NFL Alumni VIP Tour of Homes just to name a few. Happy has also been featured at the “Emmy Awards” as well as the Cannes Film Festival. Happy’s distinctive winking, bright yellow smile attracts attention, but it’s the amazing high-end quality at not a high-end price that wins the heart’s, and pallet’s of aficionados. Happy Vodka is from the “Black Earth” region of Russian and is smooth and light, with very little “back end bite.” Happy Tequila comes in both Blanco and Reposado. Both are 100% Blue Agave distilled and settled in bourbon barrels, which gives Happy Tequila a smooth taste and flavor. Happy Gin is 12 botanicals (most Gins are 10 botanicals) specially selected and blended in England. Happy Rum is made of selected aged Rums from Trinidad and St. Croix Virgin Islands. All Happy Brands are 4 times distilled and 4 times filtered to assure smooth taste and satisfying flavor.
