Old Pogue’s "Horseplay on the Midway" McGala a Success

May 2, 2009 - Ponte Vedra Beach, FL - The 15th Annual Ronald McDonald House® Charity McGala held at the world famous Sawgrass Marriott Resort featured a Kentucky Derby and old-fashioned country fair theme complete with great food, entertainment and giving. Liquor Group donated the bar for the $250 per couple event, which included some of their finest products such as: Old Pogue Bourbon, Ocean Organic Vodka from Hawaii, Surreal Latvian Flavored Vodkas, Happy Tequila and Primo Malbec Vodka.

After "betting" on the big race, guests watched the action on big screens inside the ballroom and sat down for a wonderful meal. Many guests sponsored families staying at a Ronald McDonald House® for a year, six months, three months, a month or a week. Each donor received a balloon for their commitment and the air above all of the tables quickly filled with them. A silent auction featured a variety of items for guests to take home including artwork, jewelry, golf items, trips and gift certificates to popular restaurants. A local favorite band Pro Bono got everyone up and dancing after dinner.

The event raised nearly $250,000 for the House program thanks to Presenting Sponsor Vistakon® and McGala Chair Meg Kuchar. A big thanks to everyone that attended the event, and Liquor Group looks forward to seeing more of you next year!

May 4, 2009 – Des Moines, IA - Liquor Group Wholesale (OTCBB:LIQR) Vice President for Control State Operations Steven Dodge announces that the Iowa ABD has granted Liquor Group an upgraded Certificate of Compliance as a Vendor to the Iowa ABD. “This allows us to begin selling a wider range of Liquor Group represented brands on a regular basis…" says Dodge "…further expanding the many emerging and mid-market brands that we represent.”

The Happy (http://www.drinkhappy.com/) line of spirits will be among first brands introduced by Liquor Group into the state under this new license. "I have been in contact with the Iowa ABD who expressed their desire to bring many of our products into the market immediately because they have requests to fill from consumers…” said Dodge. As Liquor Group Wholesale continues to integrate more of it’s portfolio throughout the 31 US States wherein it operates, it also simultaneously actively seeks acquisitions in the distribution arena.

Liquor Group also completed a brokerage agreement with St. Louis MO based Luxco (http://www.luxco.com/) to broker Liquor Group products in Iowa. “Luxco is a strong and reliable brokerage house that’s knows the Iowa market. WSWA Conference Sparks Liquor Group Wholesale Acquisition Talks

April 28, 2009 – Orlando, FL – Top Executives of Liquor Group Wholesale, Inc. (OTCBB:LIQR) in attendance at the Annual Wine & Spirits Wholesalers Association Conference (http://www.wswa.org/) were shopping the trade show floor for more than just alcohol beverage brands to represent. This year the conference allowed Liquor Group Wholesale the opportunity to initiate face to face talks with several state level distribution companies regarding the acquisition of their companies by Liquor Group through stock purchase.

“Our organic growth in this down market, including our triple digit increase in sales last quarter is truly amazing. We continue to be a profitable organization overall…” says C. J. Eiras, CEO “…however our organic growth strategy could be escalated through acquisitions, so we have begun the initial talks with strategic entities that can strengthen our distribution bandwidth.”

Liquor Group Wholesale will review the potential of other distributors that have voiced an interest in being acquired and has begun soliciting the trade for acquisitions. The liquor and wine industry has seen a rapid pace of consolidation over the past several years, and many small to mid sized state level distribution companies are suffering the effects of this consolidation push. The implementation of this new expansion strategy is fulfilling yet another part of the commitment Liquor Group Wholesale made to its’ shareholders when the firm was taken public in 2008.
