DeLeon Tequila Joins Liquor Group Portfolio

Jacksonville, FL - Venice CA based DeLeon Tequila line has recently been added to the representation line up of Liquor Group Wholesale, Inc. (Publicly Traded: LIQR) spirits portfolio as the "crown jewel" of the Tequila section.  The initial agreement initially covered distribution in the Florida market and began with more than $80,000 of opening orders; however it has already been amended to include the Illinois and Michigan markets with planned expansions into the balance of the 18 Control States.  “Deleon products are featured on the bar at the most eclectic and sophisticated bars from South Beach to New York, from Chicago to Los Angeles...” says Liquor Group CEO C. J. Eiras "…we are thrilled to have these stellar tequilas available for our discriminating customers."

Produced for decades by a family on their lands in the Mexican highlands village of Purisima del Rincon, these ultra-premium tequilas were revered locally, but never exported until quite recently.  The US importers recognized the extraordinary quality of the tequilas and designed an iconic bottle that is fitting presentation for the purest tequilas available.  The beautifully crafted decanted style bottle bears only a sandblasted  DL monogram on the front while the crowning touch is the cast metal top that was mastered from a one pound ball of sterling silver masterfully carved with ancient 'Aztec Death's Head' designs by famed jewelry designer Bill Wall.  DeLeon's Blanco tequila was accorded the title "Diamante" by the locals due to its crystal clarity and extremely smooth finish.  The DeLeon Reposado achieves its honey-amber color from a careful aging process that remains a family secret and the great complexity of this aged offering is sure to please even the most discriminating tequila aficionado.  Due to very limited production, DeLeon Tequilas will only be available in select markets.  For more information on the DeLeon line of tequilas please visit the brand's website at

Martinifest - Florida's Largest Martini Party!

Liquor Group Products a Hit at Jacksonville Martinifest!

November 18, 2009 - This year's Jacksonville Martinifest drew more than 3000 thirsty revelers to sample a multitude of adult beverage products at the riverside Jacksonville Football Stadium. Liquor Group products dominated the top floor of the show with a wide array of products offered at a number of tables. The SurReal Vodka line from Latvia was extremely popular with the crowds and received a nod as "best tasting cocktail" for a blend of SurReal Red Berry Crème Vodka and Cranberry juice. Hawaii's organic ultra-premium Ocean Vodka was one of the fastest moving brands with drinkers flocking to sample from the tropical themed bottles. A new addition to the Liquor Group portfolio that made an appearance at the show was McCulloch's American Vodka represented by Rob McCulloch whose family has been distilling in Ohio since the late 1800's. Many of the vodkas offered at the show were mixed with high quality Weis Liqueurs from the Black Forest region of Germany. In addition to Vodkas the Liquor Group tables also offered the recently introduced Columbus Anejo Rum, a seven year old sipping rum produced in the Dominican Republic by the famed Barcelo family, and Fat Ass Tequila Blanco a ultra-premium tequila that is taking the Florida market by storm. Probably the most unusual new products offered by Liquor Group at this year's Martinifest were the Whipped Lightning line of alcohol infused flavored whipped creams that topped many of the evening's favorite libations.

Columbus Rum Sails into Liquor Group Portfolio

November 2, 2009 Jacksonville, FL – Dominican Habitat LLC has selected Liquor Group Wholesale, Inc. (OTCBB:LIQR) to introduce their Columbus Anejo Rum to the Florida market. Columbus Rums are produced in the Dominican Republic by the famed Barceló family using the original family formula that made their rums famous around the world. Dominican Habitat describes the seven year old Columbus Anejo as exceptionally smooth and rich rum in the classic Dominican Republic rum tradition that can be enjoyed straight up, on the rocks with lime or in your favorite rum cocktail.

“By working closely with the Barceló family we are able to bring it to market at a very reasonable price point.” says Senior Vice President Jeff Bryant “The rum is produced from freshly cut sugar cane and is aged in aromatic white oak barrels to give it a distinctive sweet nose and smooth finish.” Bryant also explained that Liquor Group was chosen for launching the brand in Florida “…due to their hands on sales and marketing approach that has been successful with other new brands."

Lowell Newman, Liquor Group's Vice President and Product Manager noted that the new Columbus Anejo with its high quality and modest price will be strong competition for many established brands. Plans are already in the works for expanding the sales of Columbus Anejo Rum to other states within the Liquor Group distribution network. "We are also looking forward to adding the Columbus White Rum and the much older Columbus Imperial Rum to the product line in the near future."
